BRICKSVILLE, CA November 7 2002 – With the completion of highway 69 for the Golden Hut Expressway, Bricksville now has a brand new method of getting to Golden Hut.

The former highway 97 only went between Bricksvillle and Miramar and was aging and becoming difficult to keep up. Highway 69 was started to replace the aging 97 and to extend the highway between more towns in our state.

Highway 124 is now our oldest highway in Bricksville, it is 60 years old and still able to support our proud little town. Pictured above is the off ramp to Farbie Avenue, the place where construction began on the highway over 60 years ago.
