Red Truck Driving

BRICKSVILLE, CA November 12 2002 – Today’s report centers on an activity that affects all of us here in Bricksville, but is ignored for the most part. Our pictures show one of the many truck drivers who carry supplies into Bricksville from Sacramento, Reno and Las Vegas and carries newly made goods from our many stores to other towns across the country.

John Hikm of Bricksville is just one of the drivers that serves our town. We followed him around town one day as he dropped off and picked up many different delivers around town. “Yeah, Truck driving is fun, but you have to watch out for highway pirates to make sure they don’t rob you blind when you make a stop.”

Highway pirates have been a plague on different roads for many years, as they watch for unsuspecting truck drivers in order to steal products from their trucks. Drivers like John Hikm have learned to work with others to watch out for this scourge of the freeways.
