Space Quest is a story project. It will be started as a web comic series. This project will be known as Star Quest, a science fiction space western project, inspiring similar of Star Trek and Lost in Space. The story is not associated with the science fiction adventure game series by Sierra Entertainment.
Main Story
The story revolves around a former navy sailor John Burke who becomes the captain of the star ship Challenger, a Gemini class ship set in the early 25th century with his African American commander Frederick Tubman, and co-pilot Mickey Maris, and the ship’s assistant Dexter Colin who guide the way in the Alpha Centauri system after leaving Earth.
This was following the colonization of the Moon, Mars, and the Outer Solar System by humans to the mid and late 21st, and the early 22nd century during the planetary expeditions by unmanned space probes and manned missions launched by the Americans, Chinese, and the Europeans.
During its voyage, the crew of the Challenger led by Captain Burke continued to be explored outside the Solar System, such as star systems, extraterrestrial creatures, extra solar, rouge planets, nebulas, and black holes throughout the Milky Way during its contact outside Earth within the star ship.
Background
The Space Quest was started back in 2022, after I had fascinated with all the outer space stuff in general. My goal is to combine Star Trek and The Twilight Zone after my mom and Dad use to watch TV all the time.
The idea if there was possible if could be if there was spiritual squeal to Star Trek and 2001: Space Odyssey. The star ships will be named form British ships such as the Dreadnaught and Challenger, and the type of class are named for constellations such as Orion, Aries, and Gemini.
