The lost Jewels of El Rune’s Cathedral were found outside of town, after being lost for 60 years. Mr. Carcas Smith found the jewels, which had belonged to his family many years before being donated to the cathedral. The Cathedral’s Bishop gladly accepted the jewels, which had been stolen by Elvin Cartis, John Thornis, and Bill Burt, members of the Melands gang, the small town they were from, which up north of Legosville. While all of the members of the gang died in a shootout during their escape, the jewels were never recovered and had been presumed forever lost.
The jewels are now on display in the main entrance of the church, kept in a bullet proof, locked case that is guarded 24 hours a day so that the jewels do not become lost again.
