List of Stories

These are the stories that I’ve written for the Courage project. These cover my fantasies that are stuck in my head. Mostly are based on the Red Badge of Courage and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Installments

Main

Therese are the main installments to the Courage project.

Courage – Set in 1978, aliens invade Los Angeles, unrealized that insects about to take over the world as Alex fought Courage against them after Dr Borman was betrayed by Howard Stein.
Courage II: Fear and Cowardice – Alex fought against a zombie that has taken over San Diego, as he travels towards the Silicon Valley to confront Dr. Borman for his responsible of the insect invasion of Los Angeles.
Courage 3: Perseverance – Following the defeat of Dr. Borman, he becomes a cockroach after he falls into a lava as he turns against Howard Stein and Alex as he threatens to destroy the Earth with an army of mutated insects.
Courage 4: Source of Evil – Alex battles against a giant cockroach Argon following Dr. Stein’s death as he travels towards the fictional Land of Oz and the American south during his battle against the army of insects.

Biblical

Courage 5: Revelations – Alex travels towards the Middle East as Jesus Christ descends from the heavens in Nazareth alive after he learns about the second coming before the mummies are being raised from the dead in Egypt.
Courage 6: Extinction – A mad scientist named Jim Crane brings all the dinosaurs and extinct animals back to life after Alex learns about the sixth extinction caused by humans and global warming.
Courage 7: Genesis – Alex travels in the American southeast in Atlanta and Alabama where he fought against the hoard of demons, confederates, and white supremacist groups after Robert E. Lee came back to life as a demonic form following the dedication of monuments of the ten commandments in Texas and Arkansas.
Courage 8: Inferno – When the Pope evolves into a demon, an army of Dragons take over France, Alex travels towards Italy as he learns about the code of Leonardo da Vinci and Nostradamus fearing the world would end in 2012.

End Times

Courage 9: Armageddon – As Alex fought against the second invasion of Los Angeles in 2018, a deadly outbreak spreads from China as an insect army take over Earth before his death by lord Argon.
Courage X: Exodus – Albert and girlfriend Susan forces all the humans as he evacuates Earth to Saturn’s moon Titan following the death of Alex Bannister, as a right-wing army turns against the lion named Courage.
Courage 11: Resurrection – Alex is resurrected following his death after Archangel Uriel dies in her sleep as he fought against demons, vampires, and giant arachnids that have taken over the Earth.
Courage 12: Eternal – The giant cockroach Argon is resurrected as Alex faces his battle against him internally while the Sun expands rapidly enveloping Mercury and Venus as it becomes a red giant.

Prequals

These are the prequals that working on to the original installments to Courage.

Courage: Origins – The story details Henry Bannister as he learns about Courage, the symbol of the lion. Henry fought against the Nazis and Fascist Europe in the 1930s that have ruled by Adolf Hitler and the insects.
Courage: Apostles – Henry and Mary move from Chicago to Los Angeles with his son Alex after his birth at the end of World War II to teach about Courage, as he joins in the U.S. navy as a teenager.
Courage: Virtue – While Alex is in the navy, he travels towards Spain, Italy and France, while is mocked by Demons who are against him.
Courage: Cowardice – Alex Bannister is discharged from the U.S. navy after he refuses to go to Vietnam for aid against the Vietcong’s during the war, as he learns about the army of insects are planning the invasion of Los Angeles following the expulsion of Dr. Fred Borman.
